Australia's first Graff Diamonds store open its doors

Friday 29th January 2016. Today Graff Diamonds opens the doors of its first location in Australia, in Crown Melbourne’s luxury retail area of the Crown Towers Hotel Lobby and opulent Crown Atrium.

The new boutique will showcase some of the world’s most fabulous jewels, incorporating the finest diamonds and gemstones, illustrating Graff’s exemplary craftsmanship. In addition, stunning timepieces show Graff’s ability to push the boundaries of design innovation.

Francois Graff, Chief Executive Officer of Graff Diamonds, comments: “The House of Graff is synonymous with excellence. Our clients know that when they come to us they are receiving the best in the world in terms of the quality of diamonds and gemstones, craftsmanship and client care.“

He continued: “Over the course of the past 15 years we have cemented our foothold in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America. Our store portfolio incorporates 55 locations in the most pre-eminent luxury shopping destinations around the world. I am delighted that this now includes Melbourne.”

Illuminated layers of the distinctive Graff Icon motif hallmark the bronze façade of the store beside the main entrance of the casino. This design silhouette is now synonymous with the House worldwide and is continued throughout the store.

On entering the store the luxurious interior is palpable; a rich colour palette is decorated throughout with opulent gold accents.

Deep American walnut wood panelling is complemented by dichroic glass mirrors framing the showcases which line the walls encasing scintillating jewels.

The interiors, designed by Graff’s in-house interior design team, incorporate the finest materials - from the deep sumptuous carpets and velvet upholstery - to the bespoke ebony and brushed gold display cases showcasing magnificent jewels and innovative timepieces.

A Bohemia crystal chandelier encompassing hundreds of hand-blown crystal balls in golden tones, cascades dramatically as it illuminates the jewellery pieces beneath.
